Tel-Aviv Metropolitan Area |

Light Railway Line (Red Line) from the city of Bat-Yam trough Tel-Aviv
to the city Petach-Tiqwa. This line will be 22 kms long, of which
10 kms are underground. The project is designed as B.O.T. and is
currently in the bidding stage. During 2005, a concessionaire will
be selected from among four competing groups.
GGS Task
GGS, together with G.Y.A. Soil and Foundation Engineering Ltd. and
W.S. Atkins, are the geological and geotechnical consultants for
the project management. The work includes preparing a preliminary
geotechnical report including a desk study report, performing a
comprehensive site investigation including more then 150 boreholes,
laboratory tests and in-situ tests. The geotechnical database is
managed by gINT®
software for production of borehole logs, cross sections and a range
of reports.
