Company Profile

M. Levin – Geological and Geotechnical Surveys (GGS) was established in 1993. The company’s expertise lies in the collection, processing and presentation of geological and geotechnical data.

The Public Works Department (P.W.D.), the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Defense have authorized GGS for work in the field of Engineering Geology. The company works in cooperation with other consultants and firms as part of the consultant design groups working on complex projects.

In recent years, GGS has been involved in a number of challenging projects dealing with road, railroad and tunnel design. These projects have included geo-engineering surveys for interchanges and roads in the Haifa area, rock mass classification for the Hadid Tunnels as part of the Cross Israel Highway, desk study for the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Mass Transit System, geo-engineering survey for the tunnel section of the Acre-Karmiel Railroad, and geological consultation for environmental reviews and master plans.
